FRANKFURT, November 19, 2025 — The first 24 hours at Formnext, 2025!

Day 1's Highlights

The first Tech Spotlight began at 14:00 with a introduction to the product lineup. Guest speakers Udo (industrial metrology) and Sören (Applied Sciences, BTH) presented practical uses in manufacturing and engineering education.

Our new collaborative robot 3D scanning system (Metrohub) attracted steady attention from professionals and visitors throughout the day  for its ability to fully automate batch 3D scanning and measurement tasks. 

Senior engineers Zike and Gena demonstrated the collaborative robot 3D scanning system’s full scan‑to‑measure workflow using our Revo Design and Revo Measure  (PTB-certified professional software). The drag‑teach path programming and real‑time CAD-to-path simulation impressed onlookers. One automation engineer, watching a batch scanning run, commented: “I knew industrial systems could do this, but not at this price point—and not this accessible.”

The metrology conversation is shifting.

Traffic around the Revo Design and Revo Measure remained steady, with industry insiders asking detailed questions about workflow, integration with existing quality management systems, batch-processing capabilities, and long-term calibration support.

Tom's Basement, Olly, Snapmaker, and Quicksurface explore automotive restoration, advanced techniques, and scan-to-CAD pipelines.

Nov 20 - Accessibility & Specialized Applications

PolyWorkshop, Elegoo, and Zoltan cover beginner-friendly workflows, integrated manufacturing, and human body scanning.

All sessions: 14:00-17:00

The industry no longer sees “powerful vs. user‑friendly” as a trade‑off. People expect both, and the reactions at the booth show we’re meeting that expectation.

Visitors can stop by between sessions for product consultations and prize drawings. The team is available throughout exhibition hours for technical discussions.
