Hi everyone! We had such a fantastic time last month sprinting and cheering for the great success of our Campaign with you all. Thank you all! As we enter the middle of January, payments are in processing and we are racing against time to manage multiple tasks in the post-campaign. The estimated delivery date is a new deadline that pushes us to redouble our efforts to deliver your rewards with the most incredible quality and timeliness. The real challenge begins! Now, let’s get down to business. Backer Survey The post-campaign survey collected your shipping information was sent out on January 7, 2022. Most of you have answered the survey; still there are about 500 backers without response. It’s expected to send out the first batch of your rewards in February 2022, and before shipping, we will ensure that we have the correct shipping address from you. If you are one of the backers who don’t reply to the survey or want to change your shipping address or leave the wrong phone number, please answer your survey or change the information as soon as possible. If you have any questions and need help, please contact our customer service team via customer@revopoint3d.com. We will handle your emails as quickly as we can. VAT and IOSS Issues After sending out the survey, we have received many messages that some of you are confused about the VAT No. and IOSS No.. We collect your IOSS No. and VAT No. (or your personal tax number) because the express company requires it to ship the parcel and complete the customs clearance. If you don’t have an IOSS number, you can provide your VAT No. or your personal tax number for the customs clearance. If you don’t have any of these numbers, there is no need to worry about the question right now, for it’s optional in the survey. We will re-contact you for the VAT No when it comes to shipment. Otherwise, You need to do the customs clearance by yourself. Testing and Improvement All kinds of testings and improvements are ongoing, some big, some small, and let’s bring you up to speed. Firmware – Our developers are working on the firmware upgrading without signing a waiver. We heard the voice from you and try our best to find a better solution to upgrade the firmware for the POP 2 3D scanner. Software – Some backers fed back that they wanted to edit raw point cloud data, so we adjusted the software, allowing users to adjust parameters of point pitch, mesh quality, and other parameters to a certain extent. And the team is going to further improve and polish the interaction design and UI design. The beta version will be released this month. Certifications – According to our communication with the testing laboratory, we know that our product will be very likely to obtain the FCC, CE, PSE, RoHS certificates. After further communication with the lab this week, they are learning more certification requirements for countries beyond the U.S. and Europe for our backers come from all over the world. Prepare the Pledges at Full Speed Since we claimed on Kickstarter that we would deliver your pledge in February 2022, our production workers are preparing a POP 2 3D scanner at high speed to keep our promised delivery. Although the epidemic situation on our side is complicated and changeable and severe, we will try our best to ensure the delivery time. We promise that we will be the best 3D scanner company for consumers in the world. Let’s have a glance in the busy warehouse: POP 2 warehouse
